Government has approved solar energy for millions of UK homes

Tillbridge Solar Farm, near Gainsborough in Lincolnshire, has been approved by the government. It will be responsible for providing clean solar energy to almost 300,000 homes, making it one of the most significant solar projects to date.

This is the 17th major solar energy project to be approved since July 2024; as a result, solar energy will be delivered to around 7.5 million homes.
